I have a cold (it is definitely a cold and nothing else - my head appears to have been stuffed with cotton wool and I may rival the andrex puppy for the amount of toilet roll I'm using blowing my nose) - so everything tastes bleugh. Based on that and the fact I CBA cooking, last night was a pot noodle...oh the shame! Not sure what tonight might be, will see how I feel later.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Happy anniversary to you too CJ xx
we had a lovely meal last night, as I low carb It can sometimes be a pain, but this was easy, smoked haddock and bacon salad with a poached egg on top, no dressing, main was roasted Pork belly with tenderstem broccoli, DH had the pork too with roast potatoes and a huge selection of veg, and chicken liver parfait to start, which I would have liked but they didn’t have any celery and eating with a spoon would have made me look odd 🤣
tonight it spag Bol, with courgette for me, spaghetti for DH
we’ve ordered dry aged steak for the weekend from our local butcher, not at all MSE, but A-maz-ingly delicious 😋Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

That sounds a delicious meal, IM. I miss eating out, and am really looking forward to feeling confident enough to do it again (esp a nice curry). Soon, I hope.
Tonight we'll be having pasta bake. I don't fancy it at all but there are a couple of portions of it in the freezer which I must use up as they've been there since January! I'll probably pimp it up with some fresh veg from the garden.2 -
