Yesterday’s steak was delicious
today Is our anniversary and we’re having scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast, and a cheeseboard, loads of cheeses, charcuterie, celery, grapes, HM bread for DH, port too for laterNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Got family round today so did chilli and all the fiddly bits that go with it followed by lemon posset with raspberries4

We had wedges with a southern fried coating, a big salad, corn on the cob, hm coleslaw. Chicken for meat eaters and I had a halloumi burger on a big mushroom .

I’m making stuffed baked aubergines using some of the left over roast lamb from yesterday, minced up and mixed with some diced onion and chilli, grated carrot and courgette, and various spices.
Will also be getting ahead by making a curry for tomorrow night - aubergine, mushroom, coconut and cashew.3 -
