Sunday night was Chinese take away. Monday night was Chinese take away left overs...
Today will be something to do with tinned salmon, as I am making a conscious effort to eat more fish this week. I'll maybe do a pasta dish tonight...or fish cakes. Not sure.
Just had a fruit/veg packed smoothie and will do chip butty for lunch and this has just reminded me to get some bread out to defrost.2 -
Ooo you all like fish, the only fish things I like is tuna mayo, scampi fries and prawn toast ha
Tonight I will be having leftover pork and making chilli. Also eating the last of the rhubarb and lovely yoghurt

Garden is brimming with salad stuff so we are having a crustless quiche with homegrown salad and potatoes followed by strawberries and ice cream. I have even managed to get peppers to grow this year.
Next month I will be be putting the kale, and winter veggies inBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning, well the seafood paella turned out rather well, if I do say so myself. Tonight on the menu is chicken and bacon pasta. I shall be using the last of the macaroni. I shall cook the chicken (using boneless thighs as cheaper than chicken breasts) and bacon bits, together with sliced mixed peppers (I like to buy the frozen bag as better value), and sweet corn. And then using a really easy cheese sauce my sister taught me, I shall pour over and mix through. Lunch will be the ubiquitous ham salad! And maybe a cup of soup using the sachets we have available.Starting Total in September 2019 = £38287.77

Dinner will be chicken thighs cooked in the oven in cider, with a cream sauce. Green beans, petits pois, baby globe artichokes. Last bottle of cider, creme fraiche to use up in fridge. Might do a sweet potato and apple sort of crumble for husband.5

The salmon and spinach tart I made yesterday turned out to be larger than expected (I found half a bag of jumbo prawns at the back of a freezer drawer, so added those as well). It was lovely, but we only ate half the tart yesterday (with potato salad from Jersey Royals, and a big big salad) so we'll finish it off tonight.
I have just picked a massive bowl full of ripe and juicy cherries from one of our trees - a bumper harvest this year, and the first time in yonks that I have got to them before the birds! I might make a cherry clafoutis type thing for pudding tonight.5 -
Last night ended up being pasta mixed with cherry tomatoes, spinach, pesto and tinned salmon. It was lovely.
So sticking with my fish theme for the week (trying to do a mixture of tinned, frozen and fresh options through the week), lunch was microwave rice and tinned mackerel.
I've just been shopping and got a three packet of frozen fish for £10 deal. I got a packet of trout, a packet of smoked haddock, and a mixed bag. Going to use the mixed one and make fish pie for dinner.3
