Some of the leftover roast lamb from yesterday is being minced up and used to stuff a couple of baked aubergines for tonight. I’ll mix the minced lamb with finely diced onion, courgette and carrot plus a dollop of spicy chermoula paste then top with a little grated cheese.3

Saturday night was picky bits from morrisons 3 for a fiver range with coleslaw and salad
Yesterday morning I slow roasted some pork and stewed some rhubarb while doing boring household jobs. The afternoon was spent at the beach and then came home and had roast pork, mashed turnip, broccoli cheese, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy. Followed by proper farmhouse yoghurt with the stewed rhubarb – delicious.
Leftovers tonight then later in the week chilli then burgers.

Morning, dinner tonight will be seafood paella, my own version anyway. I have mixed seafood and prawns to use up from the freezer. I don’t eat seafood, so i will most likely have a salad. Lunch is left over lasagne from last night, and the 2 little slices of garlic bread from the freezer.Starting Total in September 2019 = £38287.77
Current Total = £25534.10

I have just taken one (fairly large) salmon fillet out of the freezer, and will make a salmon and spinach tart for tonight.
The remaining pastry will be used to make shepherd’s pie pasties for the freezer from the remainder of Sunday’s slow cooked lamb.3 -
