We’ve been busy working in the veg garden all day, and didn’t bother to stop for lunch. Just stopped for a cup of tea and a slice of Victoria sandwich cake though 😂Dinner tonight will be chicken fajitas, the filling was made previously and frozen so it’s a quick defrost/assembly job.4

Tonight we had a chicken breast each, which I bashed with a rolling pin to flatten out and then pan fried in olive oil with garlic and sage leaves. Served with asparagus and snow peas.
Pudding was a cherry crumble, made from some of the 5kg (FIVE KILOS!!!) of gorgeously ripe and juicy cherries I picked from our tree this morning. We’ve never beaten the birds to them before! Might make some cherry jam too - I bought an electric jam maker from a chazzer for just a few pounds shortly before lockdown and I haven’t used it yet. Tomorrow might be the day 😀2 -
