Stuffed pork fillet tonight. Not my favourite but I picked up one reduced to £2 and I have a pack of posh stuffing left over from the Christmas reductions. I shall split it, bash it out, line with sage leaves before stuffing and rolling in the hope of making it tastier. Ive the best part of a huge cauliflower so I might do cauliflower cheese and roasties to go with it. I just find pork fillet rather boring tbh and would rather use it in Chinese cookery but I cba and am just using up what's already in the house5

Islandmaid said:Guess what? We’re having fish and chips tonight, our local chippy reopened at the weekend, so we are going for it.... funny isn’t it, the only thing I’ve been craving since everything shut is Chinese and fish and chips, both our local takeaways opened back up the same weekend, so we flipped a coin 👍
lunch is Chilli leftovers5 -
I have got a casserole in the SC, mashed potatoes, few greens.
I cannot remember the last time I didn't cook. I don't trust takeaways yetWith love, POSR5 -

Pizza for us tonight too. I buy simple cheese and tomato thin crust ones, and then zhuzh them up with all sorts of toppings - tonight’s will have red pepper, chilli, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, spicy minced beef and extra mozzarella. There will also be wine 😀6

Yesterday the chicken noodles were soooo nice!! Completely banished my craving for chinese. I chucked all veg I could find and needed using up in it🤣
Recommend this recipe! https://www.recipetineats.com/real-chinese-purpose-stir-fry-sauce/
Today I needed to use up roast pork from fridge,so for lunch I fried up some onions, added sliced pork, added little leftover gravy (just to make it tiny bit more moist) and stuffed it into toasted pitta bread. No other condiment needed. OH was impressed
For tea we had a recipe from Indian chef from James Martin's Saturday few weeks back. Lamb rump (I could only get leg steak though) and chickpea curry for side.
It was hot!! But tasty. However next time I am putting only half of the chilli in🤣🤣4 -
I have received a big box of mixed tomatoes from supplier from Isle of white from my dear friend as a present💝 I am a bit of a known tomato fiend. Can see lots of tomato salads in every shape and form coming in next few days. This really lifted my mood today.4

I was meant to be making vegan moussaka bowls from a recipe on Pinterest, but the link was broken so I had to improvise. The “filling” part (of lentils rather than lamb) didn’t go well so we left that bit and had the potatoes and aubergine and some toast afterwards instead 😬Original mortgage free date: November 2044Current mortgage free date: November 2038Chipping away...4

Decided to put on my big girl pants today thinking my crappy diet of late prob hasn't been helping my mood. So picked up a nice french stick from the shop today and had some of that with salami and cucumber for lunch.
Dinner was deconstructed shepherds pie (ie a portion of the mince i made last week and mash) followed by Eton mess.
Also enjoyed two walks today, saving the treat of being allowed to sit on a bench til the weekend though 😂Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
