We had our roast chicken dinner and it was delicious! I took out some chicken and will buy a leek, cheese and some smokey bacon tomorrow and have a chicken, leek & bacon casserole in a white sauce and serve it with some spuds as the weather has gone a little cold!4

Mushroom soup for lunch and some sort of pasta dish for this evening followed by some raspberry trifle I made yesterday.4

Tonight I’m making a chicken pho type dinner, making stock with yesterday’s chicken bones and adding star anise to the stock pot ( as well as other things to flavour it). I think I’ve got green beans, mushrooms, and peppers to add to it with the rice noodles.I’ll freeze the remaining stripped chicken meat for a chicken and cashew stir fry later in the week.
Also have left over mash so I’m going to attempt a lemon drizzle cake recipe I found that uses mash and ground almonds and no flour. I haven’t baked in so long ( it’s never as much fun with gluten free ).4 -
brisket yesterday had a small portion in the freezer already cooked so served with gravy carrots sweetcorn and jersey royals
tonight steak and all the trimmings – yummy cant wait – steaks were half price in morrisons
later in the week burgers and salad and something with sausages

Also, our bottle bin is half full already and it was emptied just last week🙈 I seem to be spending shed loads of money, but fiding I have just enough food till next shop and all that cost actually is wine!!
Tonight we are having pork shoulder roast. Cannot wait. Our favourite type of roast. Steamed cabbage&roast carrot and tatties too, of course.
OH cooked pasta last night as I was finishing the decorating - still some to do but no more ceilings which is good. Need to get some paint for the woodwork though.
Not sure what tonight will be yet.
