I used up the granary bread and cheese. I seperated my bags of fruit and nut and made a nut loaf. 15 portions for the freezer.
I had a nut loaf portion, husband and daughter had chicken, with roast potatoes, roast carrots and parsnips, mushy peas, broccoli and ....gravy.

Lunch today and for the next few will be Lentil Dahl and veg soup, HWK will have a slice of bread with his and supper this evening will be some savoury rice to use up the tail end of a pack of bacon and for the first time in a fortnight I shall open the freezer and use a handful of peas in it, I'm missing peas! we have a mixed fruit (use up) crumble I made yesterday and HWK will have a portion of that to fill him up for the evening after that. Cup of coffee if we want it but we're rationing as it's a treat not a necessity.3

Morning all
freezer stash fish and chips tonight.
I went grocery shopping yesterday for me and 3 neighbours, got nearly everything we all needed, the only issue I had was some dizzy woman putting her trolley back then standing next to them texting, she finally looked up and said ‘you okay’ to which I replied ‘2 meters’ the penny dropped and she moved so the half dozen people now waiting could put their trolley back - dohhh 🙄

Morning, we shall have more dahl and veg soup for lunch and for supper I am going to be profligate and get 2 x sausages out of the freezer to add to the couple of bits of cooking bacon that expired date yesterday and the half an onion I saved from last nights rice to make a casserole! I shall serve it with mashed potatoes (hopefully we shall get some in the farm shop box we expect to collect today) and some steamed savoy cabbage . Still have crumble left for HWK too.4
