JIL if you just hover the cursor over the 'thanks' word on a persons post it pops up a list of who HAS already thanked them and you can check if your own name is on the list or not, hope that helps?

I defrosted some lovely lean pork medallions overnight and as I am working today will put them with a red cabbage base into the slow cooker early on this morning to chunter away all day and be ready for supper.  HWK will put some jacket potatoes in the oven late afternoon to go with them.  I'll also prepare some pears and plums in a casserole to go in with the Jackets to give us fruit compote to have with custard if we want something sweet afterwards.
Thank you Mrs LW, but I only have a tablet (which I cant use for this site)or my phone and cant hover.  So it's just my phone for now.
    I will persevere.

Tonight we will be having actifry chips, fish and peas. I might even have a slice of buttered tiger bread as its Friday.

Fish finger sandwich for lunch today using the last two fish fingers, with some cucumber and beetroot.
Dinner for me wast the second portion of the chicken noodle soup I'd made last night.
Did a bit of a stock up shop in Lidl today but mainly a few essentials and things to make other stuff into.
Vegan no-beef pasties for dinner tomorrow ..more things out of the freezer. Though a bag of quorn nuggets and garlic bread did go in today.

The very first time you read a thread you've read before you will have to scroll through [click on] the latest page which is now thankfully under the first post. After that if you click on the main title it shoudl take you to latest posts you haven't read.
If youve done that and it hasn't worked, are you clearing cookies every time you sign out or are you staying signed in and just navigating away from the site [by closing the tab for example]
If you have cookies enabled on the site, the above should work...

I’m making arancini from the left over mushroom risotto with mozzarella in the middle, served as a starter with steak and salad as a main.

  • I've just made a big pan of leek and potato soup with leeks from the allotment for lunches for a few days and supper this evening will be some more of the pork and red cabbage I made yesterday with a reheated jacket potato and some steamed veg.  Fruit compote and 0% yoghurt if we want anything else.

I don't tend to sign out but have just given up for the moment and unsubscribed from a number of threads that had tons of pages when the last post was still at the end. I can't view on my tablet anyway atm so stuck using my phone to post or have to use the laptop in the office (where it stays plugged in) Hope the tablet issue is sorted soon or i may just give up entirely. Seems a huge oversight that isn't something critical that would be Beta tested before the new platform release.

Anyway, back to the matter currently at hand. Dinner was Aldi no-beef vegan pasties with beans. They were quite peppery but really yummy, you'd never know they weren't meat.
Hope everyone is staying safe and warm in this awful weather.
