I defrosted some lovely lean pork medallions overnight and as I am working today will put them with a red cabbage base into the slow cooker early on this morning to chunter away all day and be ready for supper. HWK will put some jacket potatoes in the oven late afternoon to go with them. I'll also prepare some pears and plums in a casserole to go in with the Jackets to give us fruit compote to have with custard if we want something sweet afterwards.
I will persevere.
Tonight we will be having actifry chips, fish and peas. I might even have a slice of buttered tiger bread as its Friday.3 -
Fish finger sandwich for lunch today using the last two fish fingers, with some cucumber and beetroot.
Dinner for me wast the second portion of the chicken noodle soup I'd made last night.
Did a bit of a stock up shop in Lidl today but mainly a few essentials and things to make other stuff into.
Vegan no-beef pasties for dinner tomorrow ..more things out of the freezer. Though a bag of quorn nuggets and garlic bread did go in today.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Fruit compote and 0% yoghurt if we want anything else.3

Its DS (28) birthday today. I've not been feeling very tickey boo and he's been doing loads of the cooking so I splashed out and put some things in a Mr T home delivery - Ordered some sushi and the beers he likes plus a katsu curry chicken thing.
Didnt realise you could get the meal deals online, so stocked up x 3\sushi with a deal with coconut water (living on that atm and its so expensive) and big snickers bars as drink/snack options as that is more than £3 in itself but they subbed the sushi for a cheaper one and gave me the refund. Didn't sent the Katsu chicken I ordered either, but I do have some Gluten Free breaded chicken I got reduced in the freezer, so will freeze the sub (peri peri) and cook my bargains and make a quick sauce. Not very exciting or MS but easy and still a goer if we loose the power, its getting wilder by the moment here5 -

Anyway, back to the matter currently at hand. Dinner was Aldi no-beef vegan pasties with beans. They were quite peppery but really yummy, you'd never know they weren't meat.
Hope everyone is staying safe and warm in this awful weather.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
