  • Tonight we had roast pork with all the trimmings. I made sage and onion stuffing balls and they were lovely. I would make them again.

    Chicken, roast potatoes, stuffing, red cabbage, green beans, tender stem broccoli, carrot and sweed mash, gravy. Mushroom pie for daughter, nut roast for me.
    Lemon cake for after.
  • I made mash potato, onion and olive pancakes (reused some leftover mash, made it in pancakes with added ingredients and fried in a pan) together with quick salad with lettuce, tomatoes, salad beans, goat cheese and olives.

    Just popped a gammon joint frozen from Christmas into the slow cooker, will have with cauliflower cheese I made yesterday and tenderstem broccoli.

    The gammon will make another couple of meals this week and hubby’s sandwiches.

    Yesterday I made onion soup for my lunches this week.
    Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    We ended up with a takeaway last night as we were so tired. I'll make a light lunch with the scallops today as Tonight DH is cooking roast lamb.

    Roasted a chicken, served in a giant Yorkshire puddings with chicken gravy, stuffing, roast potatoes and cauli and broccoli cheese, more tonight,

    Poached eggs and butchers ham on toast for lunch with LO watercress etc from last week
  • Sausages in onion gravy, mashed potato and steamed savoy cabbage with a digestive biscuit topped fruit crumble and custard for pud.
  • Changed plans on Friday and had a takeaway, then took my 2 nieces out for a Carvery meal on Saturday so the planned Cottage Pie was made yesterday and one portion left for us to eat tonight.

    Tomorrow will be either HM pepperoni pizza or chicken fajitas.

    Heated up some LO pasta from Sat night with a couple of spoons of pasta sauce, some spinach and cheese. Drizzled in olive oil. Filled a gap and used up some LO.
