    Doing a store cupboard dinner tonight and using stuff from fridge. Making pasta with a creamy mushroom & tomato sauce.

    Date night tonight, we’ve been so busy we are spending the evening at home with the cats, dinner will be takeaway and sharing a bottle of wine = perfect:)

    Making steamed salmon with garlic, ginger & chilli; pak choi, served with rice or noodles with a soy sauce drizzle over.

    No I haven't! Did they do this on there then? It's a recipe my sister sent me I think it was in a Waitrose magazine a while back.

    They did something quite similar on the episode last night :)

    Not sure what tonight will be here - think OH is having soup. I think I might finish off the scampi.
    Got mince out of the freezer to make some burgers and meatballs tomorrow.

    Finished off the scampi and petit pois, with some mash.

    The freezer is cwrtinsly starting to look emptier than I've seen it for a long time. That said, I need to have room for the Xmas dinner in there and I can still see several meals so we're not scraping the barrel just yet.

    I was away with work last night and I got room service, curry and rice, tasted like an iceland ready meal for £20.

    Really tired when I got home from work so husband brought home some chips and heated up some steak casserole from the freezer. I had a chip buttie and a bowl of cornflakes and milk.
