Made a quiche from bits left in fridge, bacon, spring onions, red pepper, cheddar.

Will probably have that tomorrow, maybe chuck some burgers on bbq tonight, if the weather holds

A roast chicken is in the oven. I'll probably do it with potato croquettes and broccoli.
Because it's fun to have money!

  • Have taken portion of carrot souffle from freezer and a couple of sausages. Not sure what to do with it or just have as it is. Have a red pepper in veg drawer plus potatoes, some salad stuff, toms, sp onions & lettuce and also have some cooking bacon in fridge. Sounds a real concoction. Hm soup for lunch.

I have half a lamb leg roasting which I'll have with mash and play asparagus roulette again. Ohhh, and a couple of yorkshires.

    OH is having pasta.

Lamb is my fav but a real treat, in fact I don't think I've ever bought half a leg for myself before.

We’re having Lamb tomorrow, I buy a leg when I see it cheap, we slice and freeze LO’s in portions for quick roasts.

Have you tried lightly frying asparagus in a little olive oil, seasoned well - it’s lush

    Enjoy your treat :D

I'll deff be portioning the rest up for mini roasts and things for sure. This was about £8 for the piece I got which isn't expensive for a joint but I always feel bad as OH is veggie so it's like me saying 'you can't have this'.

I'd love to fry asparagus but this is the first time I've had it since the bunch that bought me out in hives, so I'm boiling it really well to try and ensure whatever was in it gets cooked out so I'm not sure how I'd react to grilling. It's annoying as I used to love asparagus but tbh I will prob just give it a miss after this bunch, it's not exactly a sacrifice to give up and not a great deal of fun wondering if I'm going to have a reaction to dinner
