fish in the bag and rice tonight....right out of the 1980's :D

Really need to do some food shopping (fridge has lemons, cheese, marg and a Babycham in it) but quite like having the space esp in the freezer. Must try and shop 'mindfully' in Aldi tomorrow :D Or perhaps I'll just write a list and try to stick to it.

HM bruschetta from the last of a massive bag of mixed cherry tomatoes I bought for £1 from the market a couple of weeks ago, with some tinned mackerel in tomato sauce.

Finally did some food shopping but Aldi was out of Vegan burgers - boo!

  • No idea, may make 1 large ham & egg quiche, ready made base, and/or some small ones. One for tonight, others to feed my freezer. Not sure what with, plenty veg in freezers plus spuds, run out of salad stuff.

I am just doing roast chicken, green beans (Carrefour tinned - really nice), and a sort of thrown together assortment of thinly sliced potato, halved cherry tomatoes and coarsely sliced red pepper in a garlic and herbes de provence olive oil dressing with a little balsamic stirred through, in a little le creuset dish in the bottom of the oven.
