Last nigh was veg casserole and dumplings from the freezer, so I'll prob use up the rest of the pulled pork today.
Annoyed too as I got a small portion of mugs chicken out of the freezer to defrost last night, then went to bed and forgot about it, leaving it out on the side. It would prob be ok but I'm not sure I feel it's safe for her to eat.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I’ve just put some diced shin beef and vegetables into the slow cooker, with rich beef stock and a slosh of red wine. It will be ready about 7pm and we’ll have it with creamy mash and steamed tenderstem broccoli.
I’m just about to make an apple pie for pud, and a pan of veg soup for lunch today (and work lunches next week).
Sundays are always so busy! What with the cooking, cleaning, seed-sowing-in-the-greenhouse ..... getting back to work on Monday will feel like a rest0 -
Just for me, 2 mini lamb chops, roast pots & parsnips, mash & green veg, all from freezer, may add carrots too.0

We have no cooker until Thursday so it's a choice of microwave dinners for us!
I don't think there is really anything else we can do for dinner until then we have no hob/oven/grill literally just a microwave and kettle. Anyone have any imaginative ideas?0 -

You can make your own 'pot noodles' with noodles, stock and your own flavours/ingredients perhaps.
Not really salad weather sadlyDo you have a slow cooker or a toastie maker? (Or a George Forman for grilling?) or a BBQ that could be used...if it stops raining.

I think my husband would divorce me if I suggest salad! No grill or toastie maker, we have just moved and didn't own those previously. I kept suggesting getting a George foreman but he's not keen on the idea! Might use it as an excuse to get a slow cooker...0

Tonight, for the first time in over a week, I am making a bit of an effort
Sausage risotto, simmering away in the pan.
Most nights this week have been quick lazy dinners, omelettes, frozen pizza, stuffed pasta..we have all been so busy ..But these days I cut myself more slack than I used toWith love, POSR0 -
Not sure what order things are going in this week but one will involve mince, and the other pork steaks. I used to do a bake with pork and campbells condensed soup which was delicious so might do that this week as there is some lurking in the cupboards to be used. Maybe the mince will be chilli this week. its 20% not the 5%, might sieve it? whats the best way for fat extraction?0
