I have a haggis that needs using up and I seem to remember someone on here suggested using it as a mince substitute for something else once but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.
Not sure if it was lasagne, or chilli or spag bog - or something entirely different? Help!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Kerri maybe they used it as the mince for mince and tatties. It's nice stuffed in a chicken breast and wrapped in bacon.
I had fried rice, thin pork on top and satay sauce. Not been posting as haven't been cooking much except weekends due to working now.0 -
Kerrie- I think haggis on its own may be a bit rich by itself as Spag Bol or shepherds pie, maybe mix with mince. Just trying’s suggestion of stuffed chicken sound good, or we recently had haggis scotch eggs that were yummy.
Tonight we’re having chicken thighs in Pomegranate molasses with a tabbouleh saladNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I bought some carvery style cooked chicken slices and cauliflower florets plus bag of cass vegs and soup vegs all ys. Yesterday I made a stir fry with cauli and some chick - been having in sarnies too - enough for 2 so the rest for tonight. A veg curry (Marigold) in the sc now so thats the next couple of days, just used the rest of the cauli and the broc from the bag plas some tinned potatoes. Will make soup later, my sm tends to blow the kitchen fuse sometimes and have to get kids from next door to reach the fuse box and re-set for me so have to choose when to make soup. That about a weeks worth of lunches/dinners and the freezers are still full.0

I did have some with pasta last night and must admit it prob was a bit much but was ok, prob would've been better as part of a proper bolognese which I cba to do last night. Oh well.
Not sure what tonight will be, need to go food shopping but not sure whether to go today or tomorrow.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Fish n chips tonight (from the freezer) OH had his with beans and I 'treated' myself to a deluxe trio of veg bowl from Aldi when I did the food shopping...£1.99 for a pot of veg
however, it will do me over two meals and as OH isn't always keen I didn't want to buy the individual veg and then be left trying to use them up under pressure before they went off. He got some treat things too in the shopping so I didn't feel too guilty.

I made a h-u-g-e pan of butternut squash, spinach, tomato, coconut and prawn curry today, which fed us this evening and there will be at least 10 more portions for the freezer! It was delish, tho.0
