Met a friend for lunch at a local Italian so still full from that. OH fending for himself with beans on toast.
Well last night I ended up going to the same place with friends (same group) for dinner. It's a little local Italian that's closing soon and we all have many happy (and hazy) memories from many meals over the years there so it was a kind of last supper last night.
As I clearly hadn't had enough Italian fayre over the past couple of days, I had spat bog tonight :rotfl: spag and bog both from the freezer so two more tubs liberated.
Also got out some more Xmas turkey to share with the mog. Not 100% sure what tomorrow's dinner will be, something with mashed carrot and swede as we have both to use in the fridge. Would like to try and liberate or at least make into something, something from the freezer.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Honey and mustard 'chicken tonight" with proper sausages for me, and quorn ones for OH. With carrot and swede mash and roast potatoes (which I nearly cried at putting in the oven as I treated myself to having a 'man' clean it this week, normally I take a day off work and do it myself so this year is a real treat)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We ended up having a pub dinner with my parents last night, as we had nothing in the house and yesterday I just felt too tired to traipse around the supermarket, and my parents were in the same position. 2 courses each for under a tenner, so still fairly MSE. Tonight, I'm going to the in-laws for Sunday dinner, and have been promised lemon meringue pie for afters.0

I have just put a pork joint in the slow cooker for tonight, to be served with beans, peas, carrots and cauliflower. I will do some roast potatoes in the remoska to go with it too, it makes them so crispy/fluffy/lovely. Leftover slow-cooked pork will be used in pulled pork baps with salad tomorrow night, nom nom.0
