I've defrosted the last of the leftover meat stripped from last Sunday's roast chicken, and will turn it into chicken and sweetcorn pancakes for tonight.

Hi kerri - hope you had a great time.

Lambs liver tonight - last of the big lump I bought a couple of weeks ago.
Thinking of doing liver, bacon & onions.
Bought some cooking bacon from Tesco Express yesterday - 60p for 500gms  - and it's in 2 very thick pieces, almost like bacon chops. I'll use the biggest today and maybe the other in a mac'n'cheese soon.
Thinking of doing something along the lines of the Hairy Bikers recipe.
    This ^^^^ was lovely.
I changed the recipe a bit (as you do), cooked the onions more and added parsley, I think it needed a bit of herb.
    Bacon was fab!

Out all day yesterday, picked up a takeaway.

Tonight we're having the other pack of cooking bacon, I saved the best.
They're like bacon chops, so will have those with new potatoes, peas and egg.

We had liver, bacon & onions last night. Tonight we're having scallop & chorizo linguine.
Spend less now, work less later.
