Happy Christmas to all who read.

We had the usual Christmas eve buffet, sausage rolls, gammon, cheeses, dips, bread, pickles, crisps, salads.
  • Merry Christmas folks:santa2:. I am having a little me time this morning as OH makes the dauphinoise potatoes to go with the steak pie I made yesterday for todays dinner. I am not a lover of turkey so steak pie is our choice. I also made a chocolate orange cheesecake for pudding. Hope everyone has a fab day.

We're having turkey. I've also made a chocolate orange cheesecake but that is for tomorrow when we're having our belated Christmas Day with the family. Merry Christmas everyone x

We had our main Christmas meal yesterday, DH cooked, I was at work, came home to a glass of bubbly and a lush meal.

Today, just 2 of us, met friends at the pub for one, then home for a huge cheeseboard including baked Camembert, and a few glasses of port - bloomin yummy;)

You’ll not be surprised that our main meal was...

    Turkey leg
    Roast pots
    Parsnips
    Peas
    Carrots
    Yorkshire puddings
    Pigs in blankets
    Bread sauce
    Gravy
    Stuffing

Then Christmas pudding and brandy butter!

Merry Christmas, everyone and hope all cooking goes smoothly today.
  • Left overs for us today - steak pie and choc orange cheesecake.
