I cheated last night and used one of those chicken and leek bake packet powder things – blooming salty – might have the LO for lunch and then make sweet and sour tonight, there’s mince for later on in the week,0

My second Aldi box has just been rehomed on Freegle.

KERRI - Yes HM Halloumi is better, I chop a block into 8, dust with Ras el Hanout and either shallow fry or oven bake if I have it on. Half the price;)Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

SC sauerkraut and bratwurst casserole, I feel as though I have been “ping-ing” hm readymade meals for ages in an attempt to empty the freezer, it felt good to actually create…..well throw together something different, it looked a bit insipid so added some steamed broccoli for a bit of colour.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £42.190 -
Another freezer inspired meal, all day breakfast really, sausages, bacon, beans (for DH), scrambled egg etc with toast for himself.
We have 3 'Christmas' do's from tomorrow, one V swanky, one medium swanky and one basic roast job, looking foreword to catching up with some friends:)Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
