    Just me and daughter tonight, so tuna, tomato, olives, onion, mushroom and pasta, garlic bread and rocket.

    I cheated last night and used one of those chicken and leek bake packet powder things – blooming salty – might have the LO for lunch and then make sweet and sour tonight, there’s mince for later on in the week,

    Are your Halloumi fries HM IM?

    My second Aldi box has just been rehomed on Freegle.

    No dinner for me today as just been out for work xmas lunch and full to bursting right now. Was nice but glad that's it for me for a few days of booked social things to do.

    KERRI - Yes HM Halloumi is better, I chop a block into 8, dust with Ras el Hanout and either shallow fry or oven bake if I have it on. Half the price;)

  • SC sauerkraut and bratwurst casserole, I feel as though I have been “ping-ing” hm readymade meals for ages in an attempt to empty the freezer, it felt good to actually create…..well throw together something different, it looked a bit insipid so added some steamed broccoli for a bit of colour.
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £42.19

    Another freezer inspired meal, all day breakfast really, sausages, bacon, beans (for DH), scrambled egg etc with toast for himself.

    We have 3 'Christmas' do's from tomorrow, one V swanky, one medium swanky and one basic roast job, looking foreword to catching up with some friends:)

    I've also produced a freezer inspired meal - Prawn burger with smashed avocado, side salad and crisps, there's enough avocado left to have it on toast tomorrow, happy days.

    Last fo thevwaffles with LO beans and sausages. Crazy busy with work, plus trying to get presents wrapped / sorted etc etc blah blah. OH had soup as was out for lunch at work.
