Tonight I'm doing a stir fry to use up some bits - I have sugar snap peas, spring onions, carrots and mushrooms. I'll slice some RTC pork steaks and serve with egg fried rice as also have eggs to use up. I have a packet of sauce in the cupboard, but no idea what flavour! There's plenty so I'll have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
Yesterday was a busy day, I've been away with work all week and couldnt be bothered, so RTC ready meal of sweet and sour chicken and rice did the job. It was quite nice, but not worth the full price (Waitrose!).
I picked up a gammon shank and fancy making soup in the slow cooker, any recipe suggestions? It's cool and wet here so some homemade soup sounds goodGoing to pop to the supermarket this afternoon and spend some time in the kitchen filling the freezer with HM ready meals. Work is going to be very busy the next few months so I dont want to resort to ready meals / take aways all the time!
