Last night, I treated us to an M&S meal deal of steak lasagne, red onion and cheese flatbread, and red wine. Saving the chocolate tarts for tonight.

Jacket spuds and veg chilli here tonight...OH had seconds. I didn't tell him I'd hidden more veg in it in the form of grated carrot ;)

Prob the same tomorrow and then need to get to grips with meal planning more.

    Sunday cookathon today.

Managed to make a dinner in amongst the chaos. I had HM soup and HM bread. I know it was hot outside but I fancied soup. Husband and daughter had chicken, roast potatoes, cheesy mash, roast veg, tenderstem broccoli and cabbage. I had some trifle afterwards, husband had an ice-cream.

Meat Free Monday for us - spinach and ricotta cannelloni which I made yesterday afternoon in a post-football-post-barbecue-prosecco-fuelled haze so I hope it's going to be okay :)
  • Vegetable Dhal, vegetable samosas, onion rice and cucumber raita followed by gooseberry compote and 0%fat Greek yoghurt and a cup of black coffee.
  • Didn't get chance to post over the weekend we were too busy enjoying the sunshine in the garden. Anyway Saturday was a homemade slowcooker chicken curry, served with rice and naan breads , yesterday we had bbq roast chicken with salad and roasted new potatoes. Tonight I think will be Enchiladas I picked up a kit from Aldi the other day and I have some leftover chicken to use up.
