Kerri Here ya go
Flatbreads/Roti
I use a standard coffee mug:
2 mugs of plain flour
1 of natural yoghurt
a pinch of salt
a glug of oil (Veg or olive)
Mix and kneed together till you get a lovely smooth dough - cover and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Divide into 12 and roll out thinly.
Heat a dry frying pan and add each roti/chapati/flatbread.
Leave for a minute or so and flip till each side is speckled brown and have lovely bubbly bits - continue till they are all done - they freeze really well.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Thank you thank you, thank you, for all your kind words. I did go into work today for four hours, still didn't feel great but quite a few people have also had the same symptoms so in a way that made me feel a bit better. I was convinced that as I had stomach pains and tiredness and a temperature, but no s&d then it wouldn't be a bug. However a few people had been to the Dr and were advised it was a virus. I just kept my fluids up at work.
Husband offered to make the tea, but whilst he walked the dog. I made coleslaw, actifry chips, salad, steak and corn on the cob.
I had a few chips, some tuna, a corn on the cob and some cucumber.
Later on I made a smoothie with some probiotic yogurt and berries and bananas that needed using up. I will take that to work tomorrow.
Thanks again for the kind words. They do mean a lot.0 -
Jil Glad you are on the mend, there have been some very strange viruses going round
It's the start of the Isle of Wight festival today, and although I think it's fab, it does tend to gridlock the Islands roads - like many Islanders I will stay away from Newport and the roads mainly effected, and spend the next few days enjoying the music, carried on the wind, from our garden
Dinner is using a couple of cod fillets I found and make individual fish pies, mash potato for DH - cheesy leek, toppings for meNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Tonight's planned tea for us all is spaghetti carbonara using up some bacon out of the fridge. Will possibly pop to the shop for mushrooms but apart from that another meal I can get away without spending . This week has been a bit pasta heavy but needs must, it's cheap0

Pork stir fry for us tonight, with peppers, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms (whatever veg is lurking in the fridge) and some spinach and spring onions from the garden. Rhubarb crumble for pud.0

sounds delish, iv got pork shoulder in the slow cooker as we speak0 -
Gammon steaks with pineapple, hm oven chips, mushrooms and tomatoes. Very 1960s but we like it, and if it's not broken don't fix it0

I chucked a vege / vegan chilli together this afternoon while I had a few mins spare (so quick to cook) so there's a big pan of that for tomorrow. Used up half a packet of Ghost chilli marinade that was LO from when I used it to make some roasted veg - it was already past its BB date so another thing out of the cupboard.
OH is having HM bruschetta for dinner (first time I've made it at home and think I've made a rod for my own back now - it is very nice though even if I do say so myself)
I have a LO portion of Thai green curry and rice i've just pulled from the freezer so will have that.
Really feeling like I've got my cooking mojo back now. I have half an aubergine and a courgette to use somehow - any suggestions? Thinking I guess I could roast then use in a veggie lasagne?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
