Tonight we are having a slightly zhuzhed-up version of Jack Monroe's chicken and mandarin tagine recipe (I've added tomato paste and a drained tin of chick peas to mine).

Plenty of ripe strawberries in the garden for pud :)

Leftover pasta bolognese here. It's the third night in a row we've had it and there's still more bolognese left - think I'll freeze the final portion, as I just can't face having it for a fourth night!

Final portion of the oxtail casserole here for me - I cut up the LO jersey royal from last night (yes..one spud) and threw it in when I heated up the casserole. I think that's all of it gone, unless I find any more lurking in the freezer...which is possible.

OH had a quorn cottage pie when I went to yoga.

Away with work, went to a Turkish restaurant. I had halloumi coated in something spicy and grilled with a huge salad, yogurt dip and bulghar wheat. Absolutely delicious.

We have more courgettes from the polytunnel so I'll make the courgette, pasta and cheese gratin again and serve it with a big mixed salad. Rhubarb compote and Greek yoghurt for dessert and a cup of black coffee.
