I had the last portion of the Carrot, Tahini etc along with a big stack of miscellaneous vegetables from the fridge that I chopped up and roasted in the oven for 20 minutes or so. I've still got half of those left so will chop them small and then use them for something tomorrow.

Simple dinner last night of a jacket potato with a small bit of ham and cheese on it. OH had some soup and cheese and pickle sandwiches. Hoping one of us will be willing to go out and get some chicken thighs for dinner so I can see if the bbq will behave for me.

@Brie - how did the barbecue test work out?
I had Dr Rupy's diy dal and chopped all the leftover roast veg from yesterday into it as well as some mushrooms that needed using up, eaten with a leftover wrap, yoghurt and chilli crisp.

@goldfinches - didn't get a chance to test it as my suggestion was outvoted (1 - 1 in OH's favour somehow). He claims definitively that the bbq is too far gone. But I shall persevere. Ended up with Tasco version KFC instead - with a salad for me and a few chips.
Somewhat enjoyed watching Michael Sheen in a staged version of Under Milkwood on tv after dinner. An interesting way to present such beautiful writing with MS raging against his father's dementia in a care home.

@Brie - that Under Milkwood production does sound interesting, I'll add it to my list of things to see when I have a quiet moment.
I had a very late and scratch dinner of mushrooms and potatoes with fried eggs because I was just too tired to make my planned recipe.

Sainsbugs moussaka planned for this evening. I'll add a bit of salad to my plate. I'm enjoying the Taxco mixed baby leaf with julienned beet, undressed.

Yesterday evening I had some Waitrose veggie sausages from the freezer with petits pois, cous cous and a green salad followed by some cashew nuts.

We got some nice looking tuna steaks from the fish guy at the market yesterday. OH also bought some pointy peppers to have with them. We have shallots, onions, courgette and passata so I might suggest some ratatouille. I used to love the tins of this we would pick up in France - a nice change from the standard veg available in the shops and tasty as well as convenient. Can't remember why we stopped buying these on our way home from trips on the continent.
We also got a couple of lovely big pork chops from the meat guy. likely have those over the weekend though I am tempted to get the leg o lamb out of the freezer I got for Easter so we can have either a proper Sunday roast or convince OH to roast it with garlic over beans of some sort.

Being very lazy today and also haven't been fancying food much lately but do have a craving for a jacket potatoe so dinner will be a jacket potato with some of the chicken salad I made yesterday. Keep it simple.
Have a good day all xx

My internal clock has been sent completely haywire by getting up at 3:30am on May morning and then having breakfast at 5am, I even got home from the celebrations before the time my alarm clock usually goes off. By 6pm that evening I was too tired to do anything except collapse into bed so didn't have any dinner at all.
Yesterday I made myself a courgette frittata with the last two eggs and ate it with the end of the bread and a rocket and tomato salad.
