It's turned chilly and windy here so I warmed up one of the stuffed peppers from above and popped a tray of asparagus and a tray of mushrooms in at the same time which used up some leftover oil from the fridge too. I boiled the last few sugarsnap peas and used up some lettuce and cucumber on the side as well.

The last of the stuffed peppers with the other half of the asparagus and a huge salad from the bottom drawer of the fridge. Tomorrow I'm planning to try making Meera Sodha's lentils with pomegranate molasses in the slow cooker while I'm out with my Wednesday walking group.

OH bought a Tescos dinner for 2 - chicken breasts in a mushroom cream sauce with mash, wine, and dessert.  Likely do some peas with it as well.

I was thinking.....I've got a pear that is quite ripe (still hard but on the cusp).  I was considering cutting into 4 thick slices and topping with goats cheese and grilling as a starter.  Any hints or warning?
