Husband has gone to get gluten free pitta for himself from Tesco plus hummus and tzatziki, then will go to kebab shop for shish with their pitta for me plus whatever he wants to go in the gluten free pitta, plus salad for both of us to go with the hummus and tzatziki.
Then we will watch more of Clarkson's Farm. 😀3 -
I had takeaway fish and chips with my dad at lunchtime, but I admit to giving most of the fish to the dog.
At dinner time I had a portion of pasta, with tomato and mascarpone sauce.
Husband had actifry fish and chips, which looked better than the takeaway I had earlier.
Today I'm doing greek lamb kebab, falafel, pitta and greek salad and houmous.4 -

Had the Asda Bom Bahia curry dinner offer last night £10 for 2 mains and 2 sides. All very good with hot stuff properly hot. But the highlight was the Cauliflower Makhani. Now I normally like a korma or butter chicken but I would happily have this vegetarian dish instead. Really nice.

Tonight we're definitely not on the vegetarian wagon. There were what I thought were lamb kidneys in the freezer which we got out to have for breakfast as part of a fry up. There was too much to cook - Porky White sausages, New Forest bacon, tomatoes, black pudding, mushrooms, eggs, toast and fried slice - so we agreed to set aside the kidneys.
Checking the pack they are actually roe deer kidneys and there are 8 of them so OH is looking to see what he might make of them for dinner instead. Normally this time of year if there's lamb kidneys and a couple of hearts we'd sling them on the bbq (of course) but I think we've enough with just these.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Pork chops tonight and I'll freezer forage for something to go with. I know we've mash in there and broccolli. Oh and I have a butternut squash!!! That would do!!!.
Last night's kidneys were very nice. OH marinated them in some calvados and then cooked them up with mushrooms and some chopped red onion, served on wild and basmati rice. He was concerned there wouldn't be enough (we both eat too much....) but I couldn't finish mine.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
