We're having the last of this week's roast chicken tonight, made into a Coronation chicken salad.

Tonight we will be using up some leftover sausages and some potatoes we have in the cupboard. DS will have a yorkshire pud or two with his, and of course gravy for us all, onion for myself.

I have some mince remaining from the home made burgers last night so will make DH a hot chilli con carne for work lunches :)

Why are you taking a break?
Cruise!!! Lovely dinner tonight after a disappointing starter of a scallop and prawns, no flavour other than dill.  Lovely salad of lettuce, white radish, strawberries in a mustard dressing. Next a vodka lemon sorbet. Then devine rare lamb loin with Madeira sauce. Then a cheese plate which when requested they added a sliced pear. Then petit firs with tea.  And off to have more wine...all inclusive!!!

Got some of the biggest gammon steaks I’ve ever seen tonight, half of one with chips and pineapple for him, I know gammon and pineapple is traditional but 🤢 savoury and sweet, no thank you 🤣
I am going to have mine on its own as a carnivore pizza, gammon base with tomato purée, grated cheese and herbs on top - this thing is the size of a dinner plate - wish me luck 🤩
