I had this soup which is both easy and delicious, I definitely recommend it, and a couple of slices of rye bread to dip in it followed by a decaf coffee.4

Welcome back florenceem I hope you had a nice time away.
I was just going to recommend a genius way to cook halloumi.
I bought one of the crinkle cutters and now use it to slice my halloumi before cooking in a hot pan. Absolutely perfect when its cooked. Like these.

I made this rye roll which turned out very tasty even though I haven't got the knobbly rolling pin, brushed it with olive oil and didn't dare cut mine into slices so baked it whole. I had this red cabbage and some leftover roasted courgette with it followed by a pink grapefruit and a decaf coffee.
PS I used some of the pearl barley from this recipe for a night time milk because I thought it would go nicely with egg and goat's cheese and it does taste good. I can't vouch for the efficacy of the drink yet but watch this space.
