Lasagne for the troops today, with salad and garlic bread. I might hold back some of the meat sauce and make a cannelloni type thing for me using a coconut flour wrap
also making mars bar rice crispy cake with GS as he was at nursery yesterday, grandpa’s birthday and we were out when he got home, so a happy birthday cake is required 🥳Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

We had part baked rolls and (meat free) sausage with onion for breakfast this morning. Quite unusual to have something like that mid week but it was a nice change - esp when it still feels so cold and wintery.
I think tonight will be a 'fridge forage' - desperately need to go shopping but zero time to do it so will have to make do. I know there's some mushrooms I can slice and fry, and some dirty hash browns (if you ever get to try The Hogless Roast...do it, amazing - their mini hash browns are seriously good, so much so I brought some home), there's prob some other bits in the freezer I can use up too.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I've made a big pan of veg chilli (aubergine, onion, garlic, mushrooms, courgette, red pepper, chilli peppers, kidney beans, green lentils and lots of fresh tomatoes, together with beef stock paste, tomato paste and long grain rice all free from the community fridge). The only thing I had to add from my cupboards was a hefty spoon full of cocoa powder, I love how it deepens the taste of a chilli.6

pasta with a Lidl tomato sauce. might add prawns but will check first if there's any meatballs lurking in the freezer first. I know there's lots of veg which would be great but doesn't always work for the OH.

Busy busy day today so we had a quick tea of pasta in a red pesto and chopped tomato sauce, with fried bacon, mushrooms, olives and courgette mixed in. Found a garlic bread in the freezer to have alongside.Books read 2023 - 49/755

Well tonight ended up being two RM fish pies heated up in the air fryer (so rarely use the oven these days). Must go shopping or we'll be on to eating the cat's food soon.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
