Tonight we have sausage rolls, homemade chips and beans. The sausage rolls I got in a TGTG bag and I froze them. They absolutely massive and look really nice. My daughter will have sweet potato chips “orange potatoes” and beans I know she will eat that happily. She’s in nursery this afternoon and usually eats her own body weight when she gets home

    Oooh, that risotto looks delicious!

Mister CJ's post-dental-surgery mouth is still tender so I've just made a pan of curried parsnip soup for us both tonight. Hopefully he'll be able to chew again by tomorrow!

Glad the dental surgery went well.  I remember having to go to hospital a zilion years back to have all my wisdom teeth out.  When I got home my beau had organised a lovely dinner of ribs.  Nice chewy ones.  Most I could manage was to suck on them.

Tonight we'll be mostly having gammon steaks, eggs and chips.  No salad left unfortunately.  Well tomatoes but no greenery unless I just have a spinach salad....might be worth a try as I like spinach.  OH will tut of course as he'll probably want beans.  Of course we could have the nice Lidl salmon in pastry that's in the freezer, that would be nice with spinach.....decisions, decisions.

Pasta mish mash for me tonight as I have half a jar of red pesto and half a jar of green pesto to use up.  I'll raid the freezer for some frozen veg - probably got onions and peppers in there, and fry that up and mix it in as well.
I have some celery that needs using, so as long as I have frozen onion I will make some cream of celery soup for lunch tomorrow.  Must remember to put the breadmaker on as well as I'm out of bread.
