    Look after yourself!!  You work so much for others but you have to remember yourself too!

    @Islandmaid
    It would be nice but I know I'll not get round to doing something with the pot.

    Meanwhile - salmon en croute with spinach for tonight.

    @Brie what was the pot made of? Could you take a hammer to it and use it as crocks in the bottom of flower or veg pots? That way it's still being used and you can think it's helped making lovely blooms or veg?

    Dinner tonight was mash from the freezer (prev made and frozen), breaded haddock and smashed minty peas.

    Been a busy week and I think I spent until Tuesday with a hangover from a Bottomless Brunch on Sat - Spice Girls themed. I may think i can still party like it's 1998 but i certainly can't recover like it 🙈

    We’re out to a Burlesque evening tonight, having dinner beforehand.

    Have put whole chicken in the slow cooker this morning for tomorrows roast, will strip the meat and leave everything else in the pot with sofrito and water overnight for soup stock.

    making yoghurt too, as really fancied some with some toasted nuts

    What the fife was that?  Some vague attempt at alfredo or carbonara??  We used to go to them regularly for breakfasts precovid, in part because the coffee was so good and bottomless.

    Chinese tonight.  Prawns and pakchoy and spring rolls.
