We had a kind of vegan grill ... breaded soya nuggets, a few chips and onion rings, served with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, peas and broccoli. Then we had double choc chip cake with some frozen berries and plant-based cream.

fich and ships here too!! Had a mosey around Iceland and the OH decided we needed the Harry Ramsden ones. I'll be adding salad as I've a nice bit of rocket in the fridge and a load of those little multicoloured tomatoes from Lidl.
Also picked up a YS spatchcock poussin for £2 yesterday. And OH started warbling about him trying to cut down on meat as he's trying to lose weight. Please refer back to the first paragraph above..... Sausages for us tonight. I’ve got some leftover swede, sweet potatoes and white potatoes so I’m gonna make a mash with those plus some veg and gravy. My daughter has been eating a lot recently, growth spurt time but she will eat all of that:money::rotfl::T3

We’re having a treat tonight, a Netflix (or some such) movie and a Chinese takeaway. I did however buy one of the duck pancake kits yesterday (£6-ish from Waitrose, on offer) so will cook the duck in the Ninja while we wait for the rest of the takeaway to be delivered. I could have saved money by cooking the whole meal from scratch but you really can’t beat Chinese restaurant proper chunky spring rolls, and it’s so nice to have a treat 😂

Tonight I grilled Morrisons spicy bean burgers and a few breaded onion rings, then boiled potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and green beans to go with them. We had the last two choc chip cakes afterwards with a coffee.5
