Quick tea of some tortellini from the community fridge with a jarred sauce that was hiding at the back of the cupboard served on some rocket from Olio.4

@Islandmaid - Frank is lovely, such a wonderful expression and I love the colour of his paws.
I made these Tex-Mex veggie burgers which were very nice, they're easy, huge and extremely filling. I had some sauerkraut and green salad and toasted ciabatta buns with them and have two more in the fridge for tomorrow.
I didn't have quite enough sweetcorn so made up the weight with frozen peas which meant I only had to buy the bread rolls as everything else came from stores.
Then I made this Date, chocolate and honey soda bread as I fortuitously had all the ingredients and it's absolutely luscious.

@Islandmaid - Frank is adorable, and what a great name ❤️
Last night the kids had fish finger wraps with Caesar salad, I just had salad and DH was out. Tonight we all had different variants of burger with chips and salad. The kids tidied up both nights 😉Books read 2023 - 49/754 -
Lentil soup for us tonight - I'm going to be on strike over the next few months (although obviously if a settlement is reached then hopefully not for the full number of called days), so the plan is to really try and eat as cheaply as possible and make good use of Olio and the community fridge.4
