Did more of the same for dinner last night as I need to use up the sausage rolls - added a jacket potato + roasted veggies.

I haven't cooked since Christmas lunch, we've just been grazing on leftovers! I feel wonderfully lazy.

However I have just defrosted two portions of the boeuf bourguinon I made on Christmas Eve, and we'll finish that up tonight. This is in the spirit of my new resolution not to Freeze Portions And Then Forget About Them, something which I did far too often this year. I have some cold cooked charlotte potatoes which I will slice and fry in leftover goose fat to go with it, and there is a variety of green veg to use up too.

I have stripped the meat from the turkey crown we had, there was heaps left over, and I'll use a handful of that tomorrow to make a curry. The rest will be frozen to make pie/risotto/quesadilla/pad thai etc.

I had halloumi in breadcrumbs with the last of the Christmas day red cabbage, green beans, broccoli and leftover baby potatoes also from Christmas day.
Husband had a beef brisket casserole from freezer with same veg accompaniments.

HM pizza tonight with HM pizza sauce. Both liberated from the freezer which was a feat in itself.

Looking forward to something other than picky bits and stuffing (she says, after just eating the last of the left over roasties 🤣)
