This week’s menu plan has gone awry for various reasons but we’re back on track tonight with a steak, mushroom and Guinness pie (although I still have to make the pastry), with mashed potato and steamed cabbage.

do you stuff the chicken yourself?  I've not seen a chorizo/mozza mix in any in the shops so am assuming you'd do your own.  Anything other than the obvious??  Been years since I've done something similar but always love it when it's served.

Tonight I'll do a sweet and sour stir-fry with soya/Quorn nuggets and rice. Just made a dozen small almond and cranberry cakes so we'll have one of them later.
  • Tonight we are having - air fried HM chips with HM air fried chicken cordon bleu and HM coleslaw. Followed by HM choc chip microwave brownies. I’m getting good at not using the oven!

Ate out at SA today - chicken supreme/cabbage/carrots followed by apple strudel and custard.
I used my oven the other day - poor TITH didn't rise well as my temperature was low for cakes - tasted okay though. I made a jam sponge pudding and a boiled fruit cake plus 2 tray bakes.
