@C_J
thak you - i'm quite pleased with the way the strawberry looks on here. it's interesting to see how looking at a picture is different than in real life. Different emphasis.
And besides i thought I should offer a food based entry!!!
The other has bad photo shadows but I'm mostly happy with the result and will keep on keeping one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I have an airfryer, I'm really impressed with it, although the more I use it the harder it gets to clean. I did fish and chips in mine last night, it was ready in 14 mins from frozen. I got a ninja, although had I buying one now I wouldn't be buying one with a pressure cooker attachment. I tried it once but haven't used it since.
Its saved me putting on the oven so often and that also has a cost saving. I think our main oven only goes on twice a week.4 -
@Brie - that strawberry looks luscious and the light on the water in the other looks very realistic, you are clever.
I'm another who is dithering anent an air fryer so will read reports from users with close interest.
I'm currently suffering through the firework display part of a wedding reception being held in a nearby college, the bells began ringing at 9 this morning, there was a break for lunch and a siesta, the dj cranked up the volume at 6pm followed by karaoke at 9pm and now more disco as well as fireworks. I'm sure I wish them happy but why can't they just go and jump into bed QUIETLY! (No, I do not feel mighty real, mr dj!)
Now he's playing Donna Summer! I'm going to pour myself a consolatory sherry and go to bed with my library book, night all, goldfinches.
PS cheese and salad roll for dinner as CBA.3 -
@Brie @C_J i was looking at a Ninja too, figured if i was going to invest that I'd get one I knew was decent. Though I've hears positive things about the Tower ones too (from actual people i know).
The one thing I'm aware of is the capacity. People often say they wish they'd got ones slighter bigger, but then it's storage.
I'm considering a Ninja Dual for the fact you can do two different things at once should you need to which would be useful come Xmas or that OH is vegetarian so i can cook meat / non-meat at the same time.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I used the oven last night and shoved in a cook from frozen chicken breast.
Today I made some of it into a chicken, leek and chorizo pie, I had a tuna steak. Served with roasted jerseys and a load of green vegetables.3 -
Cauliflower cheese grill for me, lamb shank for OH. With mash (YS), roasted parsnips (free) and broccoli (free).3

Leftover roast chicken from yesterday is being made into a chicken and vegetable puff pastry pie which will feed us tonight and again tomorrow.
I can't help feeling that my menus are really not particularly exciting at the moment, I need to find some time to browse for new ideas3
