What are you making for dinner?

I have defrosted some bacon initially with no real plan for it except for that will do for dinner. I am now leaning towards bacon, beans and waffles.

I made some stuffed peppers from a packet of aldi Mexican rice, topped with cheese, I had some tortilla crisps and dips with mine. Husband had leftover chilli con carne, with his.

I'm far too tired to eat or make anything due to a trip to see DD1 before she leaves for her new job in Sydney. 

That schooner takes me back too, I used to hate people ordering them when I was behind the bar in my university vacations, I was always terrified I'd spill the sherry passing the glass to them.

Ah no, Guinness was easy, it was pints of Strongbow I hated as it had to have zero head which then gave max potential for spillage. 

Dinner tonight was sweet chilli and garlic stir fry, Asian style veg from Lidl, noodles, extra pepper and teriyaki no beef strips from Aldi. OH thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tonight we’re finishing off the turkey and leek pie I made the other night, it was very tasty. I’m pleased how far I made the pack of ready rolled puff pastry go too - I used two thirds of the sheet to top the pie which made four generous portions, and the remaining third was turned into a puff pastry slice topped with cream cheese, red onion, sliced tomatoes and rocket with a drizzle of olive oil. That made two large portions to have with salad for dinner last night and was super economical as all the veg and salad bits had come from the Community fridge.
