Birthday feast (veggie version) from here for me Ottolenghi Meze washed down with Sicilian organic white wine and a coffee or two while sitting bulging on the sofa. I think I'll be skipping breakfast tomorrow!4

Happ Birthday @goldfinches , sounds divine.
We are also joining the roly poly sofa brigade after dinner out at our fav restaurant (or one of them) before hot footing it home to change into something with an elasticated waist.
Just had a message from Open Table to say apparently we were a no show for our booking so had to open a case to rectify thatFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We fancy something simple tonight after a fairly big dinner last night. So might make do with getting the old sandwich maker out of the cupboard and go for a grilled ham & cheese sarnie; or bacon and egg grilled toasty.

I am going to make a bacon, broccoli pasta bake. A*da are selling broccoli for 20p at the minute and I got two. I'll make it at lunch time and keep some for during the week. Will use cooking bacon, so quite a cheap meal especially if I stretch it to a couple of portions. Toastie/s in the evening when/if peckish. Great minds @ZolaBuddy4

I ended up using leftovers out of the fridge last night.

I’m groggy with horrendous hay fever at the moment, with no inclination to cook. If I feel up to it later, tonight’s dinner will be grilled lamb chops with a side of cauliflower cheese.2

Have taken chicken thigh fillets out of the freezer, so curry it will be. I may have a jacket potato and tuna, because that's what I fancy.2
