Woke up with a headache 🤧 that hasnt left yet.
Put a lump of pork in a casserole dish with a can of cider, alongside some potatoes in their skins, I had actifry scampi and coleslaw with potatoes and husband had pork, potatoes and some steamed veg.
Gave up chocolate, sweets and cake for lent. Husband has lost 3 kilos, I stayed the same. So if I feel up to it later, I'm eating an easter egg. Husband who is now full of motivation, says he wont join me.4 -

We're staying with family so we had a roast. Roast potatoes and pumpkin, peas, asparagus and Yorkshire puddings. Meat eaters also had chicken. Followed by crumble and custard.
For breakfast we had brioche (YS) with jam and chocolate spread. I had a vegan "fish" fillet (YS) sandwich (YS bread) and a macaroon (YS) for lunch and OH had chicken katsu curry (YS), some crisps and white chocolate cookies (YS).3 -
Macaroni cheese with leeks and bacon.

We have a couple of home made chicken jalfrezi curries in the freezer. Sorely tempted to get them out for dinner tonight and indulge with some basmati rice, a naan and some hot pepper sauce!4

I’m going to roast a chicken to have with carrots and tenderstem broccoli. That’s a bit of a lightweight roast, but I’m still recovering from whatever it was I’ve had (LFT negative for both of us, so just a cold I think) and am feeling really tired. A day for taking it easy 😀3

Not sure what today will be. I really need to create something from ingredients in the freezer and make a little room. Although it's gonna have to be something good as there won't be much room to put any portions back in.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Lovely leg of lamb last night and the fennel was great too. OH considered the lamb undercooked as it wasn't medium well, closer to medium rare. That's fine by me as on top of everything else it means he didn't eat a lot so there's loads left for tonight tomorrow.
Which is just as well as I've just tested positive for the blasted covid. So need to call up MiL's carer to say don't come and also cousins who were planning to visit on Tuesday.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
