Reigning in on our chippy treat on a Saturday night, so tonight we're having poached eggs, sausages, beans and some little potato things I found in Lidl. I might fry up some mushrooms for me and DH too (DS doesn't like them). Tomorrow is yesterday's bulked out chilli, served with rice this time (we had it as nachos last night).

    Very MSE!

Are the potato things the little frozen cubes?  If so I'm sure you will enjoy them.

    Quorn spaghetti bolognese.

For breakfast I had scrambled eggs (YS) on sourdough toast (YS) and OH had Greek yoghurt (YS). OH was out for lunch, I had a cheese toastie (YS bread), crisps and a macaroon (YS).

Might have a sneaky chocolate cake slice before bed (YS of course 😅)

Happy Easter to those that celebrate

We’re doing an Easter egg hunt for GS, followed by a BBQ of suckling pig, with rolls, apple sauce, salads etc ‘no bull’ burgers for the vegans and the LO burnt Basque cheesecake for pud.

The Picpoul is chilling and the hot tub is prepped and ready to go for those who fancy a dip

A Full English, at around 2pm today. Really looking forward to it because most of the ingredients have come direct from the local farmer's market.

No doubt we will probably fall asleep soon afterwards :dizzy:

Wasn’t well enough for the lamb chops last night, so we’ll have them tonight instead. This pushes the meal plan forward by a day all week, and we’ll have the Easter roast lunch tomorrow instead. Which is fine, as it’s just the two of us. I’m recovering but still feeling a bit rotten, and Mister CJ is displaying the same symptoms that I had a couple of days ago so it’s possibly not hay fever after all. **rushes off to rummage in the drawer for the last remaining LFTs**

Two chicken thighs defrosting. Might just do chicken and rice or go bit more Sunday dinner (ish) and do mash veg etc. Tomorrow can be the other option from those two ideas. Lunch in a bit can be bacon, toast and scrambled egg.

Hope those who are feeling under the weather feel better soon.

Not sure what dinner here will be later, we have friends up for the football later then when they go it will either be pizza or a bbq. Need to decide as need to get burgers or dough out of the freezer soon. Only thing is i don't think we have buns for burgers or jalapeños for OH pizza 🤔
