You did make me laugh. Great bargain and they look both comfortable and versatile, well done you.4 -
Had a short walk through two with DS and DD in tow (He's 4, shes' 2.5) and one of the usually more boutique style shops had a sale on.
I found a nice lightweight purple jumper type top, originally George @ Asda, DD found another cuddly toy monkey and DS found a silver Hotwheels hotrod type die cast type toy car, with flames down the side (1979 on the bottom, similar selling for £3-4 on Ebay!). All three items 90p!!!
Washed the top last night, wore it today with a black vest underneath as it is thin, but I love it.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Love the Gant boots. I haven't been to any CS's for about a week maybe, I will go back in the New Year or just before if they are open. I try not to go to often as I just bring too much stuff home, I do want some more wine glasses so will be looking for those. I have acknowledged a weird thing about my charity shopping, I buy too many things that I don't need and sometimes like but don't love, then I see something I really love but don't buy it due to the amount I have spent on the other things. This is something I need to address and will only be buying if I really, really love it or absolutely need it.

Monsoon trousers for £2 today. Look new and I am pleased with them even though they are a more narrow leg than I usually wear. All that clutter used to be money5

People always ask me what I'm looking for in the charities and I often reply I don't know until I see it
I've hardly brought anything this year and there is usually a need for what I did buy.
I am in a constant state of streamlining my wardrobe so I often use charities to upgrade the bits I have.
I think getting bits for the niece is my downfall.
I also get people who love the pleasure of just owning a lot of clothes and having choice. I probably only have 40 pieces max but I really love a lot of them.
Think I could be looking for a belt if I ever get out again to have a look see
Hope all are safe and well where ever you are.
Our Xmas is buggered but we will make the best of it.

I feel for you in Tier 4 areas, that is the ordinary folks, I don't feel sorry for the media who live in those area.Have been for a 14 mile walk today and have made a couple of purchases. I got a pair of brand new Laura Ashley Christmas mugs for £3.50, they are really nice and passed the 'do I love them test'. I also got a vintage copy of Wuthering Heights and also Bleak House, they were £2 each, they had lots of other titles too but I stopped at that as I had to carry these things in my rucksack. We are lucky to have a few charity shops specialising in vintage items.
