Matron_Midge said:I have been looking to replace my everyday navy leather bag for ages and I always have a look on the shelves in any charity shop I visit. Today I struck lucky and found a navy leather replacement. It is made in Scotland and is branded Rowallan. I paid the princely sum of £4.49 and am delighted with it. Lots of inside pockets and butter soft leather. I going to give it a polish and will transfer my day to day detritus at the weekend.Even more delighted when you look at their website.I have a fab Rowallan bag bought from a charity shop some years ago, it's a very soft two tone brown nubuck.I've bought OH a Rowallan credit card holder for Christmas from TKMaxx. They sometimes have Rowallan bags in.LittleVoice said:Treggings - is that trouser/leggings hybrid and more formal than Jeggings?
I think so.Leggings, jeggings and treggings explained
Leggings, jeggings and treggings, this season it’s been all about the ‘ings’.
But with all these fashion terms being thrown around, do you know the difference? To make things easier we’ve demystified each style and given you an idea on how to wear them.
Leggings are tight fitting styles that are typically made from a blend of lycra, spandex, nylon, cotton or polyester. They’ve been around practically forever and are usually ankle length but in recent fashion circles leggings can now be longer or shorter (cycle shorts were spotted on the SS10 catwalks).
- Wear leggings underneath short skirts and dresses or with tunic tops for everyday practicality.
Jeggings are fab if you like the look of jeans but prefer the stretch and feel of leggings. They are the perfect cross between leggings and jeans and some even have the same features as a pair of jeans including stitch detail pockets. They’re versatile, comfortable and uber stylish.
- Throw on your jeggings with slouchy jumpers and cosy knits for a relaxed, weekend look.
Treggings are the latest of the ‘legging craze’. They look like trousers with a fit and shape of leggings. Sleek and tailored, treggings are great for work and give you lasting comfort throughout the day.
- Wear treggings in the office with a tailored jacket for that perfect mix of smart and edgy.
At size 10 they are a little 'snug' but once I've shifted the lockdown lard, they'll be fine.I'll wear them as ankle grazers with flat brogues.6 -

Today I found the perfect size Cuggi stroller for when DGS comes over but sadly neither me, the woman serving or the man hefting furniture about could work out how to fold it up so I had to leave it. I did get a nice wicker basket with a lid and a handle in the lid and a leather strap to fasten it. It’s like a picnic hamper but it’s deeper (about a foot) and it’s on tiny legs ( about an inch). It will be useful either for DGS’s toys or for our hats, gloves and scarves. It was £10. Also got DGS a Peppa Pig bowl for 30p.
I have a basket that sounds suspiciously like that, I have it on top of my tall (wardrobe height) hallway cupboard and it has running shoes in it, it is actually a pigeon carrier which everyone in my family finds weird except me.
this afternoon a Bluey greeny grey parka style Seasalt coat. I think it is Janelle which is on their site at £150 tho not in this colour. £12 to me and in excellent condition.7 -

Not heard of this make before but it looks very well made, patterns matching and contrast fabric to inside cuffs and collarA pair of thick M&S treggings in a brown square check pattern. Lovely fabric, look unworn. I think they are treggings rather than leggings as they have a feature side zip. £3.99 Oxfam3 boxes of Thorntons dark chocolates, only 8 chocs but delectable sounding - Sicilian mousse, Seville caramel etc. On the cusp of best before date but only 50p per box. Will polish off before the end of the festive season.A TUI 3/4 sleeve jersey short dress in a Rennie McIntosh design, very colourful. £2.99 BHFAnd......a glass Christmas bauble for £25.00.To put this into perspective, it's a brand new in box with label & ribbon attached Waterford Crystal one and I've seen one very similar on Amazon for £103.73.I only have glass baubles on my tree and I have some that I bought from the top of the Twin Towers in NY 10 months before the terror attack. And a Macys 2000 and 2015.And some from Harrods. And some from Cairo. And some Dartington crystal icicles. And some that I bought from a local flea market that we think probably started life as part of a chandelier. And some with painted reindeers on sent by a friend from Canada. And a Benjamin Chee Chee (Canadian artist) one of Canada geese (I have this one on permanent display with my glass perfume bottles and this Waterford one will also be).
