Bogof_OAP said:Found a dress sporran in Cancer Research for £30.The new one I'd already ordered from the kilt shop for £130 arrives tomorrow.
Sporrans are sold as one standard size but the chain is sold in various lengths. May be slightly adjustable.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.6 -
I’m in England so no charity shops open at the moment and I’m getting withdrawal symptoms. I’m just praying we do come out of lockdown when they say.It wasn’t so bad in the first one because we had nice weather and could go in the garden but this time of year it’s just depressing9

Hello everyone - hope you are all well and coping as best you can in these difficult times.
Just wondering if this is of any use to anyone in Yorkshire* who has items they would like to donate whilst the shops are closed. Yorkshire Cancer Research are offering a free postal service for people to donate items they would normally take to a charity shop. You just bung your stuff in a cardboard box (or other packaging), print out a Freepost label from the charity's website, (see linky for all details) and take the donation to a drop off point where it will be forwarded to the donation centre in Harrogate.
*I'm not sure if you can send stuff from outside Yorkshire....I guess it depends if there is a drop off point near you??
