Right yesterday I wore the same black leggings as Wednesday but with a £1 H&M tunic top in white with blue oakleaf print, last week I chopped the bottom off it and hemmed to make it into a normal length top as the tunic length was not right on me.  Today I am wearing the same top but with a pair of M&S relaxed slim jeans in a dark wash, there was a time a couple of years ago when I found a few of these jeans for around £3.99 a pair, they are a nice style, I will wear them turned up with Vans or Converse if it is warm again or Docs if not.

After too much time spent spent lounging about in jim-jams and dressing gown I have decided to take myself in hand and get dressed each day in reasonably smart clothes...hoping it will give my mood a little boost.  Today it is a long, belted cashmere cardi in a light taupe shade, cream long sleeved t-shirt and tan straight legged jeans - all chazza buys but I can't remember the prices as old 'old stock'!  I've also decided to give myself a task to do each day - today's is to take down and wash the sitting room curtains in the bath, (grape treading method).  They were a chazza buy, price was £8 and they are huge but not sure how they would fare in the washer, (if they would fit!).

    Well done on those boots.

Today I am wearing the same jeans as yesterday with a Calvin Klein belt which I think is a mans but who cares (£2), the Fat Face green top I had on earlier in the week topped off with a Lazy Jacks hoodie in broad blue and white stripes with pink drawstrings, pink hood lining and stitching (£6), have walked the dog and wore my Surfanic ski coat in lime green which I think was £7-8.50 ish.

Today I have worn the amazing Barbour coat out. I still don't quite see how you could ride in it, but it corners beautifully. (Sons happily laughing at me enjoying that aspect...) The hood is a good heavy article which doesn't slap me in the face during a gust. The local cheery tree has decided it is nowhere near spring yet (well, Lancashire, not unreasonable) so my hopes of cherry blossom are muted. Something to keep checking up on though!

Yesterday was the same jeans and hoodie combo but with a long sleeved Seasalt cotton top in teal which I think was £3.  Today is the jeans and Seasalt top with my lovely M&S cardigan, it is quite a fancy cardi, it has one button and the front curves away towards the hips and the cable knit design follows the curve.

Ooooh I have a navy Barbour riding jacket...about 15 years old now and I still love it.  Hip length, it has lots of extendable bits held in by poppers when not horse-bound.  Sadly the detachable hood had been permanently detached when I purchased it from the chazza.  Can't remember price...might have been about a fiver back in those days.  Today's outfit consists of M & S camel wool trousers (for warmth....brrrr), long sleeved cream Uniqlo top with a camel  cardigan with multi coloured embroidered spots by Country Casuals....all ancient purchases so have long forgotten prices.

Also love the sound of the cheery tree....we have a magnolia tree beginning to blossom in our communal garden.
