Miro - Who pays that and then gives them away?
Yesterday I bought a BN Joules mug, very large and ideal for a proper cup of Yorkshire tea, has bikes on it and I am a keen cyclist so for £1 it was coming home with me. To balance that out I am putting 3 mugs in the shed to use for something - not decided what yet. I also bought a Christmas decoration, it is a conical tree made from beads on a sort of wire and hessian frame, very glittery and red and it will catch the light very nicely - £3.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Not worth more than 25 quid I would imagine. No dust cover.
Worth buying another unsigned copy of the book then just to get the dustcover,Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

I went in Emmaus, dropped of 2 pairs of teen trainers, used but not terribly worn but expensive.
I found 4 large hardback books £1.50 each, a mans next jumper, a ladies next linen sleeveless top, a red england football tee shirt and another top.
The sales guy says £6 total. I don't think that's enough so I gave him a tenner.
Do I need a bag ? Yes please, a strong one.
He put the books in a jute bag and off I went
Arrive home. The bag is an Orla Kiely jute Cancer research bag. Sold on ebay new for between £9-£15.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

DS needed a pair of winter boots, he has some walking boots, 1 pair of trainers and school shoes but nothing suitable for grotty weather, I have looked on ebay but the prices people pay is mad, went into town this morning and got him a pair in the same style as the tan Timberland classic boots, he will only get this winter and spring out of them (13 and growing like a weed), paid £4.99.
Also got 8 Famous Five books for 50p each in pristine condition, I am really enjoying reading these for the first time in many, many years.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Yet another 'Cos' item jumped out at me today, (never heard of this brand til recently but I really like their clean contemporary lines). This time it was a green and navy patterned cotton shirt-style top with patch pockets. Priced at £4 which is a bit more than I usually pay but hey ho! will be perfect with the dark navy Escada jeans purchased yesterday!!! Found it selling on FleaBay....

Oh excellent, caroc! I used to deal in Orla bags on eBay to fund personal quirks I didn't want to inhibit feeding the lads - a good Orla bag is not only a robust ally but also a thing of beauty!0 -
The spending continues...........:o
Called into the large Cancer Research shop this afty and saw a pair of mid brown, canvas, low top sneakers on the shelf, brand new and by 'Shuropody, priced at £3. Was looking for something in just this colour during the summer, (what summer?), but never found anything. Sadly they appeared to be a size too small so put them back. Mooched around the rest of the store but found nothing of interest so went back to have another look at the sneakers on my way out. Decided to try them on and was amazed that they fit perfectly :j. I was under the impression that they must be a cheapo sneaker from the likes of Primark etc but a little squizzing online reveals that Shuropody is a FootCare/FootClinic sort of place that also does footwear at a fairly hefty price so they must be decent shoes. So pleased I went back and tried them on0 -

Called into the Cats Protection shop too this afty and managed to liberate an immaculate Orla Kiely gift set of 2 x large, v. smelly, (in a nice way!), bars of soap and a toiletry bag in one of her signature prints. I don't usually 'do' gifty sets as presents but this is rather nice....99p0 -

I think that Shuropody took over a lot of the scholl footcare places, a quick google suggests they brought scholl footcare around 20080 -
