Also, in the 99p St Gemma's shop I got a couple of travel guide books as I am just on the point of booking my next holiday.....50p each. (2002 & 1991 editions but rivers, mountains and main roads don't change much do they??:D)
Depends on where you're going.

Not exactly a charity shop find, but at a charity auction for our village hall I bought a magazine rack. I didn't particularly want it, but felt I had to buy something to contribute. There were a few books in it, so as a bibliophile I was interested.
Found a signed, first edition, John Le Carre novel in there!“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0 -

Is it the one worth £29,750 or one of the cheapies only worth a few hundred quid?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Hospice "everything £1" clearance shop yesterday, pair of very slim leg dark grey jeans. Checked the brand online - Amazing Woman - anything up to £100 new. I would like to say a perfect fit, but I will have to shorten the legs a couple of inches, and endeavour not to put any more weight on my tummy! Fastens great at the waist, a bit taut on the hips.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Have nipped into town this morning and found a couple of things on my list of CS wants.
A red Christmas table runner and 3 hand embroidered linen cloths, the type you put things on. I have put one on the dining table, a smaller one on my dresser under some vintage plates and one in the bedroom where I have my jewellery box and perfumes. They are beautifully done in lovely designs and on really nice pieces of fabric - 50p paid for all 4 of these items.
In the same shop as above DH found a 90's Timberland jacket, light tan colour with the logo stitched on in brown, the style is called trucker jacket, have run it through the wash and it looks great - £2.
I got a Massimo Dutti oversized sleeveless jumper, cable knit cotton in cream, really nice style - £1 and a H&M tunic in white with an oak leaf print in blue also £1. A pair of Gap sexy boyfriend jeans for £3.50 and a lovely mohair blend 'Made in Italy' coatigan in light brown, edge to edge style with 2 large pockets £6.50.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

We went looking for kitchen furniture, I came back with Langley... Just four teacups & saucers in Lucerne, (common as fired mud but useful) but also an oil bottle that needs a clean & a new cork - both within my reach. Acquiz Committe chair pointed out another stack of Denby but tottered away in shock when I managed to turn away from it. (There is only so much I can carry & anyway they wanted over a pound a piece, a rule I try to stick to!)0

As a lady who is not small in any sense of the word I was delighted to get a NOA NOA cardigan in size s today 🤣 it was blush pink long loose style in an open knit and cost £3.50. I also got a set of 6 cheese plates, each with a different cheese on by bia http://www.tutorniki.co.uk/bia-the-cheese-board-cheese-plates-6-plates-zgumqpuzm.html
£5.95 for all 6. They aren’t boxed but will be creatively wrapped for DD Xmas as an extra. She is cheese mad0 -

Not worth more than 25 quid I would imagine. No dust cover.“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0 -

Had to go and pick something up in town this afty and so could not resist calling in the St Gemma's Hospice charity shop, (always my downfall this blooming' shop!). On what I think is their 'designer rail' sitting prettily was a pair of Escada, navy, straight leg jeans. As new and such nice quality. Priced at £7.99 which made me hesitate but decided to try them on anyhoo - perfect fit so they ended up coming home with me
Can't find the exact pair online but similar styles by this brand retail at around £200  Who on earth pays that for a pair of jeans???
