I read recently that it is expected that second hand shopping will overtake 'normal shopping' in the next decade. That is music to my ears but I do wonder what will happen to the prices. TBH though if the worst came to the worst I have a SABLE clothes situation providing I don't lose or gain dramatic amounts of weight.

Another aspect....I've also noticed a trend of using recycled wood in the higher end furniture stores recently. Not the usual 'paint it Farrow & Ball green' malarkey but more like this...

Three thousand squids for a coffee table though:eek: I would expect a coffee plantation for that price :D

    I checked yell.com before I went.
There are enough to keep me occupied but the RSPCA on New Market St is closed.
I missed St Gemma's in Merrion though.
I found all the shops quite small and cluttered.

I've really not got back into it since my enforced absence. :(

I think St Gemma's is fairly new...it's quite big and spacious and close to the Arena, (was it The Eagles you went to see?)

Dolly, you lucky soul, I cordially loathe shopping for clothes as my weight fluctuates & as for my dimensions - well at least my feet are still the same size. When I'm getting the exercise, and hitting the gym so I don't drop a rifle or crossbow through fatigue, I'm one shape & when the weather is rotten & I cba to walk so just drive everywhere, I broaden on several dimensions...
