Hi Miro - I'm around but obviously not getting chance of any bargains.
But keep them coming to entertain me.
I'd underestimated the non-mobility aspect massively.
Today is the first time I've sat down at my PC.
Some concerns about haematoma at my 1st dressing appointment so I've got an extra appointment before I have my cast off on Friday.
Not liking the self-administered injections in my tummy.
Hope you have a fab holiday.
Dolly84 - my niece was a Jack Wills fan and £5.50 for a hoodie would have been a steal anyway (start at £50) but £1. WOW! :T
Owies! Is that for possible blood clots due to immobility? (tinzaparin?) I have to give myself these shots before flying due to a flight provoked pulmonary embolism in the past. Cor...they sting  I find it helps to hold an ice cube on the injection site for a few minutes beforehand. Best wishes for continued improvement and recovery XX0 -
Hi Miro & DFV
Thanks for the suggestions and well wishes.
Yes, the injections are to prevent blood clots, only needed until I have the cast off.
I'm currently being entertained by James Martin and his Great British adventures - watched 6 and another 13 to go.
Watched back-to-back Cheat and Mrs Wilson and have various other serials backing up.
Despatched Lee Child, Kathy Reichs and David Baldacci and still have a pile to go at.
Bumped up my best scores on a number of my favourite games I play on my phone.
Anyway, back on topic - get off out in this lovely weather and let me enjoy your bargains vicariously.0 -

That man has gone & been & done it already. Not yet 9.30 & I am texted an image of a Denby Harlequin footed mug, with a little sticker showing 50 pence.
I am spoiled something rotten!
May this be the start of a good week for all who just putter through with their eyes open?!
(Out of curiosity did anyone on the march in London or elsewhere duck into a CS, just in case?) Seems a shame to have that many people & logically those opportunities & yet everyone focus on just one thing...0 -
My local Sense shop has transformed into an "Everything a Pound" shop :jso I just had to make a donation or two! One Indigo (I loved Indigo, then M&S discontinued it) ladies shirt; One Indigo sweatshirt and one Tu (Sainsbury) top. I expect I shall return now and then!Normal people worry me.0

I bought a black dress, a brown handbag and a pink Per Una blazer today, all for £1 each.
The jacket is so unflattering on me so that can be returned next week!:rotfl:0 -
Love reading about everyone else's bargains, so I thought I'd join in the fun! I've been on a charity shop roll this year.
In January I found a pair of gold leather gloves by sermoneta - I found the style online and they retail at 67 euros. I absolutely love gold, and I love gloves, and these fit perfectly. they were £2 from the Helen Rollason charity shop in the posh town near me. They were a small, which I think is why they hadn't been snapped up already.
Two weeks ago I bought 5 tops from Sense in the same town. £15 in total. One from Diesel that I am not sure about (it has a complicated tie/wrap thing going on that I am not sure I have the patience for!) but I will redonate it if I don't get on with it. One black M&S top - I love finding M&S in charity shops. This fits beautifully and goes well with skirts for work - it will wash and wear for ever. One white summery top from Asos - will be perfect for exotic holiday I am having later in the year. One black and leopard skin top - not worn this yet. And finally in this haul a pale pink top from Zara. Medium, sheer front and ribbed back. Worn to work twice so far and received many compliments already - brilliant for £4.
Then today in my less posh town I bought another 4 tops. One light blue Nike Drifit (I love Nike and do lots of exercise, but I refuse to pay full price for it). This was £3.50 and XS, but it fits fine - snug, but perfect for when out cycling with a jacket over it.
Then 3 tops from Next. I never go in to Next or buy anything from there, but these 3 should all be good for work over the next few weeks. One pale pink (my favourite colour at the moment - a dusky rose) vest for £3.50. Beautiful soft material and nice wide straps (thin straps make me look a bit bulky in the arm, I think!). Will be great for work in the summer with a jacket or cardigan over it as is smart for a vest. Size 12.
One sleeveless Next top for £4. This is a size 8, but fits - I wouldn't want it any smaller though! This is in a smart black and white checked pattern - again perfect for work in the summer.
And finally a size 12 white shirt. Sheer, with a bib front with diamante appliqued to it. Would be great for work to evening wear - £3.95.
Today I've also donated some books and tomorrow will bag up some clothes I have sorted to donate. Apologies for the lengthy first post but thoroughly enjoy everyone's bargains, and hope you enjoy mine. I am not perfect (I still spend to much on clothes both new and secondhand full stop!) but I do love giving a lease of life to something that has been donated, and I am hard-wired to never want to pay full price for anything!
Happy hunting in 2019.0 -
I saw a Jacques Vert black & electric pink loop buttoned jacket, smiled at it & walked away. It was a size 18, it looked glorious & they only asked for 5.95 for it, but it just didn't quite sing to me.
Whereas an Orla patterned Belkin ipad cover leapt into my hand & wouldn't let go. Is it possible my techie work is distorting my judgement?!0 -
Magpie - I come across quite a bit of Nike and Adidas workout clothing too along with other technical brands, I run, cycle and hike and do it in expensive kit which I only paid a few pounds for.
Haven't been near a CS since last Saturday which is good for my bulging wardrobe. I did donate a bag last weekend and will send another this weekend containing dvd's, books, clothes and bric a brac.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
