I see no point in buying it at all - the environment comes first. Thankfully chazzers do sell a lot of good stuff at good prices too.

No clothes for me today but a cruise thro' BHF unearthed the following:
2 x silicone victoria sandwich 'tins' ,now half price- £1.98. I use these in my Remoska cooker- at one time the silicone trays were everywhere including Wilco's- now long gone. Thrilled.

2 cute little pink(for little girl) hand warmers in original Claire's packaging- £8. Great present for a friend as she suffers from cold hands- bargain @£1.25.

Pack of 3x new pairs mens socks- they were cheap at full price £2.50- but fine @ £1.25. Will do fine for next year's shoe box appeal!!!

Horrid horrid cold, damp day- hardly daylight
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Twas worth venturing out into the cold and damp this afty :j In the hospice chazza I found a pair of b/n M & S black leather ballet flats type of shoes for £3 and in the community chazza a Jaegar white shirt in heavy cotton twill for £1.75. Been watching this garment for the last couple of weeks - didn't want it enough to pay the original asking price of £3.75 but when it landed on the reduced rail at £1.75 it just had to come home with me :)

  • Hi all, a couple of superbuys in the independent charity shop near school:

Two pairs of dangly earrings for £1 each.one seems to be handmade in the shape of a heart with a little pansy at the top about 3mm across, all with a hammered finish. Turns out they are both hallmarked silver, signed SG.

At the re-use shop at the council tip a brand new pack of ladder pads for £1! Really pleased with these so I can now replace the old T-shirts I have on the ends of the ladder.

Went to the local hospice jumble sale/Christmas 'Fayre' this morning. What a scrum...they had to implement a door policy of one out/one in!! Everything was £1, & 3 for 2. Anyhoo....got a nice heavy long scarf in shades of burgundy, pink, black and brown, a b/n TU long sleeved t-shirt in a seasonal vivid red and an M & S burgundy cardi. Nice little haul for £2. Then had a scrumptious mince pie and mulled wine for £3....the German market in the town is charging £7.50 for just mulled wine at the mo
  • A Horsforth pottery storage jar with sunflowers on it £2
    A teal suedette dress M and S Indigo £5
    Running tights/legging £4
