Today a brand new (tickets attached) 100% cotton shirt blouse - made in India for Marisota. Bargain @ £3 and perfect to wear in the heat of India in January! By the time it has been exposed to the dust of Mumbai it won't look quite so pristine!!- hopefully the dust will be hidden by the bird print.
Seriously just what I wanted.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Awww, just had a text from son enjoying a day off "is peasant ware denby" [Yes. Photos help confirm] "I bought it"
Well, I've taught one son to shop for his Christmas presents in charity shops.
(Another is using my paypal account as his concierge service as he seems to have decided he must buy all his presents this week - Can't Imagine Why...)0 -
A Hobbs coat - cross between a raincoat and parka with hood. Browny-bronze with green leaves that are iridescent. Looks unworn, still with plastic bag with spare buttons attached to care label. Was £9.99 from BHF but probably wouldn't have been much change from £175.
Phase Eight top in blush-pink/nude. Jersey body and sleeves and a 100% silk floaty top. £2.49 Breast Cancer
I've just had a clear out and - with wardrobes still full - have decided that I'm not going to be swayed by price but will go for higher end brands.0 -
Gosh that hobbs coat was a good buy. I have so much stuff too and am presently clearing out ... I was in local little shop today all items a £1 or less but I am trying to be selective too and just buy really good top brands .
saying that i bought lots of old vintage Christmas items today some really pretty little things that remind me of being a childspent £5 ... bargain.
Also lady in a shop was in bad mood and I asked her the price of a number of items that would have done as gifts but she wasnt amused by my questioning especially when I bought none of it ... she overcharged me too but she was in such bad mood I didnt want to sayit was only a pound. Sort of spoilt my visit to that shop to be honest. She was having a bad day maybe.

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

I fully expect you to turn up, one day, on Mastermind with Denby Ware as your specialist subject! (Either that or on the Antwacky Roadshow as a 'Denby expert')
Have finally given in and unearthed my knee length down filled coat to wear on my chazza excursion this afty. (Currently 2 degrees here in Yorkshire...brrrr) Said coat was purchased in a chazza 4 years ago for a trip to the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights - that Joanna Lumley and her travel progs has a lot to answer for - never thought I would ever need to wear it again after the trip but have practically lived in it for the last few winters. Priced at £7.50 and deffo one of my best ever buys.0
